New Zealand Parliamentary Delegation visits Flanders Battlefields

A New Zealand Parliamentary Delegation came to visit the Battlefields in Flanders on 4 October 2013. 

Belgian Flags to honour the New Zealanders on 04/10/2013
4 October is the day of the Battle of Broodseinde. 

They insist to commemorate the sacrifice of the New Zealanders exactly 96 years ago.

There was a short ceremony with the Last Post, the ode and wreath laying by   Hon Tau Henare and the New Zealand Parliamentary Delegation,   Dirk Cardoen, Burgemeester of Zonnebeke and   Lt Col Mike Beale on behalf of the New Zealand Defence Force
Belgian Flags were around 's Graventafel Memorial as a Guard of Honor.
Earlier in the morning, the party visited Messines.
