The prestigious 2011 Civic Trust Awards Ceremony was held at the People's History Museum in Manchester which saw 57 projects recognised from 333 entries. 27 Awards were given, including 7 projects that were chosen to receive a Special Award, demonstrating outstanding credentials in a specific area.
The Civic Trust Awards National Panel selected the visitor centre at Tyne Cot Cemetery in Zonnebeke, Belgium by Govaert & Vanhoutte Architectenburo as their favourite Award winner in 2011.
